While it is a buyer's market, many sellers are still faced with the challenge of having their property remaining on the market for long periods of time. Consider the changes that can be made to assist with a quicker sale.
A well-priced home will have no trouble selling within a reasonable time. If a house remains on the market for prolonged periods of time, the following should be considered;
- Is it listed at the correct price? A home should be listed at an average of the top ten lowest priced houses in the area. Be mindful that buyers do their homework when searching for a home and are aware of the market prices
- Ask for the feedback from potential buyers and relatives to ensure any personally over-looked changes can be effected to assist with the sale
