Avoid buyer's remorse and consider these important questions prior to making a legal offer to purchase; Why is the house being sold and how long has it been on the market? Understand the intentions of the seller as to their reasons for selling. This can be influential on the offering price. If the property has been on the market for a long time, you could negotiate a lower price Are there any impeding changes in the area that could affect you as a homeowner, by making the house less valuable in the future? Closing down of public transportation or new roads causing traffic could affect this When will the current owners move out?
